Salam-e-Lekum.
This is with reference to your oral proposal regarding accommodation and food for the transitory Iranian students who come to Hyderabad for seeking admission at Osmania University, This facility can be extended for all such Iranian students who will stay in Hyderabad provided we are informed about the number of Iranian students who are desirous of availing this facility. Please find enclosed herewith the details.

Also a tentative proposal for those' students who will be finally admitted into Osmania University and stay here' for completing their studies is drawn. This is tentative but final shape can be given if the number is known and information in advance is furnished by the Consulate,

Please also find enclosed copies of MoU's, which we will enter into with Tehran and Biljand Universities, This is for your ready reference. I am mailing these to the respective Universities. A waiting your reply.

DETAILS

  1. Transitory Accommodation (a maximum of 10 days) will be provided to all foreign students in Osmania University Guest House by earmarking A.C./Non- .A.c. room at the rate of Rs.500/ and Rs.300/- per day respectively per person.

  2. Food will be provided at the rate of Rs.200/- per day which includes bed tea, breakfast, lunch and dinner (for details see the appendix).

  3. The Foreign students shall contact the Director, UFRO for all matters relating to their admission for which the University would charge Rs.5000/- per candidate as processing fee to undertake the responsibilities of getting him/her admitted on in their respective courses/colleges, as per the eligibility criteria laid down by the university.

    Once the admission process is completed the foreign students would be provided single and double occupancy rooms in nearby furnished flats at the rate of Rs.5000/- per month per candidate without food. For double occupancy, the rent would be Rs.6000/- per month per two persons.

    They will have to pay Food charges separately at the rate of Rs.3750/- per month.

  4. The University will not be in a position to arrange the transport to and fro to the airport for transit students as well as for such students who have already sought admission at Osmania: University. This may kindly be taken care by the consulate.

  5. Efforts will be made by the University to hire flats either around Osmania University Campus or Tarnaka or Durgabhai Deshmukh Colony area for those students who have been admitted into the University.

     The University would appreciate, if the consulate furnishes early information (names and dates of arrival, etc.) regarding the transitory students who will be reaching Hyderabad to seek admission at Osmania University and also about such students who will come for a stay for the course duration once their admissions are finalized. This will facilitate the University authorities to make the accommodation available on specified dates both at the University Guest House and in the flats hired.

Cornflakes, bread & butter, jam, eggs, banana, tea/coffee
 
Lunch
Parata or pulka, plain rice, fried rice, salad, curd, papad, dal, 2 vegetable curries, sweet and banana.
 
Dinner
Parata or pulka, plain rice, fried rice, salad, curd, papad, chicken/meat/fish, vegetable curry, sweet and banana.
 
Sunday Special
Biryani (Meat/Chicken)
