Meeting of His
Excellency with Commissioner of Police
H.E. Mr. Mahmoud Safari consul General of Islamic Republic of Iran at
Hyderabad on 21st October 2009 paid a Courtesy Call on Mr. B.
Prasad Rao Honorable Commissioner of Police at his office, while
exchanging the formal pleasantries His Excellency spoke about the
problems faced by Iranian Students studying in Hyderabad for the
extension of their visa's.

Lastly the students visa's are being
extended only for a period of six months this problem is rarely seen
as in all the countries the visa's are issued for a period of one
year and in some countries it is valid up to the period of the
course.

For the purpose of extension of the
visa's students has to report time and again to the concerned
department where as this could be done within a short span of time.

During the last few days the
concerned department is asking students to produce the rental
agreement along with the photo of the landlord this problem is very
unfamiliar and unacceptable.

It has been brought to the notice of
this mission that the concerned department they do not behave
properly with the students and hence the students have to spend
money more then expected.
