Iftar - Dinner at the Iranian Consulate On Sunday the 13th September 2009 corresponding with the Shab – e- Qader an Iftar followed by dinner was organized for about three hundred Iranian students studying in various Institutions in Hyderabad in the premises of the Consulate General of Islamic Republic of Iran.
In this programme Prof. T. Tirupati Rao Vice Chancellor of the Osmania University , Dr. Mohammad Tanveerudin Khudanumai Head Department of Persian, O.U. Dr. Rasheeduddin from the department of Persian O.U., Mr. Mohammad Sagheeruddin News Editor HYTV, Mr. Anees ur Rahman News Editor ETV Urdu, Mr. Mohammad FAzil Correspondent Reporter TV9 Channel were the guest who attended the Iftar.
It gave a good opportunity to the students to discuss their problems and unsolved issues. They also got acquainted with the new staff of the Consulate General of Islamic Republic of Iran and each of the head of the sections and their points of views on Culture, Art and contacts with each section.
Similarly students were invited by the Honorable Vice Chancellor to discuss their problems about the Osmania University and some of their problems were given patient hearing and promised to be solved.
