Members of Friends of Iran Society called on His Excellency Mr.Sayed Mehdi Nabizadeh, Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Iran

   On 4^th August 2007 during the visit of His Excellency Mr. Sayed Mehdi Nabizadeh, Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Iran for India to Hyderabad, members of Friends of Iran Society headed by its Chairman Mr. K. Prabhakar Reddy called on him to discuss and introduce its members to the Honorable Ambassador.

     Mr. K. Prabhakar Reddy, Chairman Friends of Iran society introduced the members accompanied by Mr. Hussain Ali Khan, Founder Secretary and Mr. Aijaz Qureshi, Associate President along with Dr. Anand Raj Varma, General Secretary. The members presented a report on the activities of the society and their future plan for the activities to be taken up during the next one year. The Friends of Iran Society was formed in the year 1985 at Hyderabad with a purpose to strengthen the people to people relation between India and Iran especially Hyderabad.

     His Excellency Mr. Nabizadeh expressed his happiness over the activities of the society and assured them that he will participate in any of the seminars conducted by them in future as well as will link this society with the similar societies formed in Mumbai and New Delhi and said we have similar societies in Iran as well and an association of Parliamentarians of Indo – Iran too.

     Mr. Hussain Ali Khan thanked His Excellency Mr. Hossein Ravesh for reactivating this society since last three years.
