Visit of Hazrath Ayatullah Jannati, Chairman, Guardians Council, of Islamic Republic of Iran to Hyderabad.

     His Holiness Ayatullah Ahmad Jannati, Chairman, Guardian Council of Islamic Republic of Iran and Leader of the Friday prayer of Tehran along with a High level delegations visited India on the Invitation of ICCR (Indian Council for Cultural Relations).

        During the visit to Hyderabad from 29^th November 2007 to 1^st  December 2007, the delegation called up the Governor of Andhra Pradesh, Minister for Minority Welfare and Minister for Co-operatives, Government of Andhra Pradesh, and also had a meeting with the Shia and Sunni Ulemas of Hyderabad along with some Political, Cultural and Educational personalities of this state and discussed above the strengthening the Indo-Iranian Relationship and spoke about the unity among all the sects of Islam.

        His Holiness also participated in Friday prayers at Masjid Ahlebait (A.S), Asif Nagar on 29^th November 2007, who was well received by the crowd came to officer prayers. His Holiness addressed the gathering regarding the duties of Muslims towards their religion and society  and met all the people who gathered to offer Friday prayers.

       On the last day of their tour the delegates visited the Historical Monuments of Hyderabad such as Charminar, Mecca Masjid, and Qutub Shahi Tomsb, before leaving for New Delhi.
